A PATIENT drive and charge down the sprint lane was enough to secure Merbein driver Kathy Watson this year's Kiel Tiling Blue Pearl Classic at the Swan Hill Trotting Club’s meeting on Sunday night.

Watson, along with trainer-husband Luke, took home the night’s feature event aboard nine-year-old gelding Magic Matty, with Watson winning the eighth edition of the female reinswomen’s event.
