IT'S been a big fortnight in the life of 15-year-old Max Thompson.

As if playing cricket for Victoria in Mackay for an entire week wasn't enough, Thompson then caught the first plane home after his final match on Friday to ensure he was home in time to play a starring role in Nyah-Nyah West United's 26-point semi-final win over Balranald last Sunday.

It's all in a week's work for the dual sports...
