BEVERFORD'S Liam Shadbolt has broken a high jump record.

Shadbolt cleared 1.83 metres in the sixth round of the Athletics Victoria Shield League (AVSL) track and field event in Bendigo earlier this month.

The 13-year-old athlete broke the Bendigo Centre record in both the Under 14 and Under 15 age categories.
