SWAN Hill and District Cricket Association (SHDCA) will be entering a team into the Wimmera Girls Cricket League for the first time this February.

The league is a T20 competition for girls aged 10 to 17 and has been running for two years.

Head coach Alan Hatcher said a Swan Hill girls team had been a long time coming.
