Autumn tourism campaign launched

SWAN Hill Incorporated is launching a new tourism campaign, Escape, as part of No Matter the Season, highlighting the autumn experience in the rural city.

As the days grow cooler and the vibrant colours of autumn set in, Swan Hill Inc is inviting visitors to experience the city’s ultimate outdoor adventure of fishing, camping, and exploring the region’s diverse food and shopping scene.

Swan Hill Inc business development manager Stephen Colombo said autumn was one of the best times to visit Swan Hill.

“The fishing is fantastic, the campgrounds are calling, and our local food scene is full of fresh flavours,” he said.

Escape is about slowing down, embracing the outdoors, and experiencing everything that makes our region special.

“Beyond the fishing and camping experience, Escape showcases Swan Hill’s independent shops, vibrant cafes, and multicultural dining scene.”

Mr Colombo said this campaign would draw more visitors during the autumn season, boost local businesses – from tackle shops to retailers and restaurants – and position Swan Hill as a must-visit destination for outdoor adventure and regional dining.

“It also aims to strengthen community pride by celebrating what makes our town unique,” he said.

“Every visitor who comes to Swan Hill isn’t just here for the river.

“They’re discovering our local businesses, meeting the passionate people behind them, and supporting a thriving regional economy.”

Follow Visit Swan Hill on Facebook and Instagram to see the Escape campaign in action.

“Tag us in your fishing, camping and dining adventures – we can’t wait to see how you #EscapeToSwanHill,” Mr Colombo said.
