One of Swan Hill’s holiday parks has been rewarded for its innovation in the wedding market at last month’s annual VicParks Awards in Melbourne.
BIG4 Riverside Swan Hill collected the elusive innovation award after it made “significant innovation in the park to provide a new product, service or feature for guests”.
Managers Dan and Ainsley O’Bryan, who have managed the park since 2011, said it was a “wonderful surprise” to be announced winners in the state-wide awards at the annual conference.
The park is continuously thinking of strategies to help grow the park and appeal to not only returning guests but entirely new markets, Mrs O’Bryan said.
“Over the past 18 months, we have spent a great deal of time and effort installing new features in the park that would appeal to the new economic order market who are prepared to pay for a quality experience,” Mr O’Bryan said.
